Burr & Forman Announces Relocation to SoBro as Part of Continued Nashville Expansion

(NASHVILLE) – Burr & Forman announces the firm's anticipated Nashville office relocation for late 2017, as part of its continued commitment to expanding its presence and serving clients throughout Tennessee. Burr & Forman signed a 13-year lease in a new office building currently being developed in downtown Nashville's vibrant SoBro district. Over the past 18 months, the firm has more than doubled its attorney headcount in Nashville. Burr & Forman will occupy approximately 26,450 square feet of space at 222 2nd Ave. South.

"We are excited to establish long-term roots as part of Nashville's growing downtown business community," said Stephen Price, Burr & Forman's Nashville office managing partner. "This new space provides us the flexibility to expand and develop the space to suit our needs as we serve our local and national clients."

Burr & Forman's plans for the new office include state-of-the-art conference and meeting spaces for seminars, receptions and other community events. The 25-story building, known as 222, is being developed by Hines and CB Ragland, and will offer a full-service fitness center, community workplace lounge, conference facilities, outdoor landscaped terrace overlooking the Cumberland River, and 29,000 square feet of street-level restaurant and retail space when completed.

"We are thrilled to have Burr & Forman select our building for their long-term home in Nashville," said Hines' managing director Vikram Mehra. "They knew what they wanted and recognized that 222 provides

them the ideal opportunity to create their desired workplace to fulfill their business goals and meet their recruitment objectives."

The firm worked with John Gifford and Tom Davis at the brokerage firm Colliers International on the lease. Nashville architectural firm ASD/SKY will design the space.
