(CINCINNATI) – Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that Rookwood Commons, a 340,059-square-foot lifestyle center, will add two new tenants this fall. With the signing of these two leases, Rookwood is 97 percent leased to 75 leading retailers and restaurants, including Whole Foods, REI, Nordstrom Rack, T.J. Maxx, Joseph-Beth Booksellers, P.F. Chang’s, and J. Alexander’s.
The tenants—Soft Surroundings and BJ’s Brewhouse—are slated to open in early November 2018. Soft Surroundings will open their first location in Cincinnati and will occupy 4,320 square feet. BJ’s Brewhouse will occupy 7,600 square feet in a newly constructed building at I-71 and Edmondson Road.
Rookwood Commons, along with Rookwood Pavilion, are two contiguous shopping centers that operate as a single 600,071-square-foot property referred to as Rookwood, located in the Hyde Park submarket of Cincinnati, Ohio. Known as a unique, high-end open-air lifestyle center, Rookwood serves a densely populated, urban trade area from its strategic location approximately five miles northeast of Cincinnati’s dynamic CBD. Hines acquired the property in January 2017 and implemented several physical and operational improvements to the center and is focused on upgrading the restaurant and apparel mix at the center.
