745 Seventh Avenue is a 32-story, 1,028,000-square-foot building located in the western part of the Rockefeller Center complex. The building was designed with 720,000 usable square feet, with provisions to accommodate 2,500 traders in the low-rise portion of the building. A redundant power, mechanical and telecommunications infrastructure is in place to ensure the lowest potential for interruption of critical business functions. Located within the northernmost boundary of the Times Square Special Zoning District, the building conforms to provisions requiring approximately 15,000 square feet of illuminated and animated signage at its base. The exterior is clad in granite, metal and glass, and forms an architectural composition of layers and vertical piers.
