In 2019, Hines, in a joint venture with Henderson Park, acquired a site on Cristobal de Moura 196 in Barcelona. Construction of a 10,963 square meter, 350 bed student accommodation scheme began in late 2020 and completion is expected in Q4 2020.
The site is within a 15-minute walk to the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña engineering campus and a 25-minute walk to Pompeu Fabra’s Poblenou campus.
The scheme will be managed by aparto, HInes' student housing management brand.
