In 2020, Hines acquired Lenbachgärten Offices in Munich on behalf of two German investors. Lenbachgärten Offices is comprised of two first class office buildings that are currently leased to tenants such as McKinsey, Apple, Markel, and Zirngibl. Both buildings total approximately 324,000 square feet (30,100 square meters) and were awarded the DGNB Gold certificate in 2023 for existing buildings. The properties are part of a mixed-use development that includes office, living/housing, restaurants, and a 5-star hotel. The complex is located in a rapidly growing urban environment just a few minutes from Munich's main railway station, which acts as an international traffic hub, as well as Stachus square. Hines serves as asset manager, property manager as well as facility manager, and is completing ongoing refurbishments.
