Developed by Hines and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the 27-story PNC Center contains 501,141 rentable square feet and incorporates an International style of architecture that is timeless in its presence and image on the skyline. Characterized by an exterior wall of travertine marble, aluminum and bronze dual-pane glass, the building creates an immediate impression of quality. The 18-foot-high lobby features walls of Italian travertine marble and dark gray granite flooring with travertine accents. Massive expanses of floor-to-ceiling glass provide viewing of the activity in the retail banking lobby and brokerage office. The main elevator lobby is clad in travertine marble with brushed stainless steel elevator doors. Access to the lobby is provided by two revolving doors and swinging doors.
