In 2016, Hines acquired Sonnenstrasse 9, an 8-storey mixed-use building, on behalf of a French insurance company. The asset comprises 55,790 square feet with the lower floors let to gym operator Body & Soul and the upper floors to several office tenants. Sonnenstrasse 9 is located in the heart of Munich in close proximity to the Stachus and underwent a massive refurbishment in 2014/2015.
