In 2018, Hines acquired Zalando HQ for a club of German pensions funds.
The two properties are the headquarters of Zalando, a DAX40 listed company and one of the largest online fashion retailers. The properties are located in the heart of the Mediaspree submarket, one of the most dynamically developing office submarkets in Berlin.
Hines sold the asset to BVK in 2022 and was retained as asset manager.
