Lane is a Senior Managing Director and is responsible for identifying, acquiring, financing, developing, and managing select Hines projects in Tampa Bay and Central Florida.

Lane started at Hines in 1998 in Atlanta, GA, focusing on mixed-use development. Lane moved to Florida in 2002, and his current responsibilities include leadership in the Tampa / St. Petersburg, Central Florida, and North Florida markets. Lane has been involved in development projects including over 650,000 square feet of office including FIS’ World Headquarters which achieved LEED Platinum certification, 1,800 multifamily units and over 4,500 acres of land, including entitlements for over 12,000 residential units.

During his career, Lane has been involved in ULI and NAIOP and has participated as a judge in the Hines sponsored Kenan-Flagler case competition. Lane has been involved in his local community as a Young Life sponsor and with Boy Scouts of America.

Lane earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a certificate in Economics, and a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
