Walter O'Shea
Senior Managing Director, Northeast Florida, Central Florida / Jacksonville, FL
Walt is a Senior Managing Director and is responsible for identifying, perfecting, and executing development and acquisition investments in select Southeast markets including Northeast and Central Florida.
Since joining Hines in 1996 and initiating Hines’ Florida land investment platform in 1998, Walt has been responsible for the planning and execution of mixed-use land and multifamily developments totaling over 5,600 acres that include more than 8,700 residential units and two million-square-feet of commercial and institutional space.
He has been an active member of Urban Land Institute throughout his Hines’ tenure serving on a variety of Jacksonville committees.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Management with honors from Northwestern University with a concentration in finance and real estate.
