Hines Promotes Paul Gomopoulos to Managing Director

(ATHENS) – Hines, the international real estate firm, recently announced that Paul Gomopoulos has been promoted to Managing Director and will be relocating to Athens to begin Hines operations in Greece.

Gomopoulos joined Hines in 2006 where he worked primarily on the Hines European Development Fund I and II as well as a fund focused on Spanish resort and residential projects.

He has been closely involved with the Porta Nuova mixed-use project in Milan and was appointed to the Fund Committee for the project in 2010.

Over the past 24 months, he has established and developed the Hines brand in Greece, building relationships, as well as sourcing and structuring deals for the firm in a challenging and promising market environment.

Going forward, Gomopoulos will take the local leadership role for Hines Greece.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Chicago,

and received his MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
