Hines To Develop New Residential Community in Northern Virginia

Hines has acquired an 80-acre land development lot known as Thomas Farm at Bristow Station in Prince William County, Virginia. The fully entitled land will be developed into a residential community with 320 homes. Acquired in partnership with JR Real Estate Group (JR), a DC-area real estate investment firm, the community will consist of a mix of market-rate single-family detached homes and townhomes.

JR worked with the Thomas Family and County Officials to take the property through the entitlement process, and Hines will now develop the community with the lots being presold to homebuilder, NVR. Future residents will enjoy a suite of top amenities, including a clubhouse with a swimming pool, dog park, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, a playground, a pavilion area, and a walking trail, in addition to a memorial dedicated to the Thomas Family.

Last year, Hines acquired two land development lots, including 245 acres in Loudoun County, Virginia, and nearly 13 acres in Manassas, Virginia. The two parcels are being developed into master-planned communities, adding over 1,200 single-family homes to the Washington D.C. submarkets. Hines also has 775 single-family detached homes with extensive amenities in Loudoun County.
