(MADRID) – The Madrid office of Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that the firm’s Zielo Shopping Pozuelo retail center in Madrid was chosen as the Best Small Shopping Centre by the Spanish Association of Shopping Centres at the XII Shopping Centre Conference, which recently took place in Bilbao.
In choosing the center, an expert panel of judges took into consideration a wide range of criteria in which Zielo Shopping Pozuelo stood out, such as: originality; innovative elements; planning achievements; design quality; quality of construction; retail mix; integration of complementary uses; adaptation and integration into the surrounding area and respect for the environment; occupancy rates and financial results; as well as what the center has contributed to the shopping center industry.
The Spanish Association of Shopping Centres organized the competition in conjunction with the XII Spanish Shopping Centre Conference to determine the best shopping centers in the country.
Zielo Shopping Pozuelo received its award at the conference’s closing dinner at the iconic Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
Hines Spain Director Jamie Rea said, “Zielo Shopping Pozuelo is more than just a shopping center.
Its groundbreaking sustainable architecture, cutting-edge design and varied mix of the best quality tenants, provide customers with the ultimate shopping experience.
