(ORLANDO) – Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that Jon Wood has joined the firm as a Vice President-Development.
Wood, a 15-year multifamily development veteran, will office in Orlando and will coordinate the multifamily activities in the Southeast with Michael Harrison, a senior vice president in the Southeast Region and with Alan Patton, Hines’ recently appointed senior vice president of the Multifamily Division, who is based in Houston.

Wood relocated to Orlando from Washington DC, where he was most recently president of Urbanscape, a privately owned boutique real estate firm. He was a principal responsible for new business and for all phases of development, construction and delivery of high-density multifamily apartment projects. Prior to forming Urbanscape, he was the Southeast managing regional development partner of The Morgan Group, a multifamily development firm based in Houston.
Wood has also held senior level positions with Archstone-Smith and Trammel Crow Residential.
