Sebastian Huergo to Co-Head Hines’ Operations in Spain

(MADRID) – Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that it has appointed Sebastian Huergo as new Co-Head of Spain. Huergo joins the leadership team of Jamie Rea and Miguel Ramos at the helm of Hines Spain. Huergo arrives from Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), where he spent three years sourcing and executing transactions in various markets and product types, totaling equity commitments of more than €2.5 billion. During the course of 2013-14, he has been actively sourcing opportunities in the Spanish market for NBIM.

Prior to his tenure at NBIM, Huergo spent seven years at Rockspring PIM in London, where he performed roles both in the transactions and fund management teams. Huergo completed his MBA at London Business School in 2002.
