West Edge Expands Culinary Offerings With Two New Restaurants

West Edge, the transformative mixed-use development, is welcoming the addition of two innovative restaurants – KinKan and Miya Miya Shawarma – adding momentum to its mission to transform the west side of Los Angeles. Both restaurants are set to open in 2026.

Miya Miya Shawarma is a Smorgasburg standout founded by Chef Yaz Soudani, and will open its first brick-and-mortar location at West Edge, bringing a bold and flavorful take on shawarma. KinKan is the creation of chef-owner Nan Yimcharoen, and will bring Japanese cuisine with a Thai influence to West Edge.

West Edge first opened its doors in June 2023 with 600 multifamily apartments and 80,000 square feet of curated retail surrounding a .5-acre, open-air plaza. The new restaurants join an exciting roster of existing retailers including, Gelson’s, [solidcore], Artha Yoga & Wellness Sanctuary, Clean Juice, Hammer & Nails and Presotea.
