Hines developed and has managed the headquarters campus in Lake County, IL, since 2006. The 70-acre site, located along the I-294 Tri-State Tollway and Lake Cook Road, features three office buildings constructed in two phases.
The first phase, completed in 2006, included two five-story office buildings totaling 358,000 square feet and a 6,000-square-foot remote delivery facility. The second phase, completed in 2010, added a six-story office building with 240,000 square feet of space.
Over the years, the campus has served as Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Horizon Pharmaceuticals headquarters. As of 2023, Amgen, Inc. acquired the property, with Hines continuing its role as property manager.
