In 2017, Hines Global REIT II, Inc. acquired aparto Montrose. The property was originally developed as a hotel in 1964 and was fully renovated and converted into student housing between 2013 and 2015. It achieved 100 percent occupancy within a year of completion.
aparto Montrose is a 210-bed, Class-A asset located on Stillorgan Road, directly opposite the University College Dublin campus at Belfield, a short bus ride to the city centre and a stroll away from the coast. It’s the ideal location for students studying at UCD, and those who prefer to live a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The building features an Insomnia coffee shop, convenience store, a Subway, and Bank of Ireland within the retail units on the ground floor.
Accolades include: Best Private Halls in 2018 + 2019, Best National Student Housing Awards, Best Student Broadband 2018 + 2019, National Student Housing Awards
aparto Montrose is currently under refurbishment and is set to reopen for the next academic year in 2022.
