In March 2022, Hines U.S. Property Partners, the firm’s flagship commingled U.S. core plus fund, acquired Chelsea Point, a strategic build-to-core industrial development site in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Hines completed construction of the project in 2024.
Located in a key last-mile market for e-commerce and freight shipping, Chelsea Point is a Class A industrial development with a 36-foot clear height and flexible design to accommodate single or multi-tenant uses. Sitting two miles northwest of Logan International Airport and three miles north of Boston’s CBD, the property provides direct access to all neighborhoods and suburbs of Boston as well as the airport.
The project is Hines’ first industrial development in the Greater Boston area.
