About One State Street

One State Street is a 24-story, 500,000-square-foot office tower located on the west bank of the Connecticut River in Hartford, Connecticut. The building, which is clad in a combination of honed and polished Napoleon Red granite, has two very distinct presentations: viewed from the Connecticut River, the building has a curved shape; and viewed from the opposite side, the tower features a series of serrated setbacks. Parking for more than 500 cars is provided in One State Street's adjoining five-level garage. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, One State Street was completed in 1983.
