"Stream Building is a 16,300 square meter mixed-use building in Paris' 17th arrondissement. Collaboratively designed by architects PCA Stream and the operators of the building, it is among the winning projects of the 2015 City of Paris call for innovative urban projects "Reinvesting Paris".
The modular and upgradeable construction is based on a timber-frame structure with concrete cores.
The building is a true mixed-use space with 25% of services open to the public, 25% accommodation and 50% work places. Stream Building houses offices, co-working spaces, a Zoku hotel, and a 1,200 square meter vegetable garden on its rooftop that will supply its restaurants. Hops grown on the southern facade is used to brew hyperlocal craft beer. Further, the co-op that runs the building's urban agricultural spaces offers jobs to local residents excluded from the workforce, thus merging environmental issues and social concerns.
Construction of Stream Building was completed in September 2022."
