Cher Yao

Cher Yao is an Associate, Fund Management, Americas serving as Assistant Fund Manager for Hines U.S. Property Partners responsible for developing and executing the fund’s investment strategy.

Prior to joining Hines, Cher worked at Nuveen Real Estate as an acquisition analyst for the Office and Life Science Investments team where she sourced and underwrote office and life sciences investments in the Northeast Region for open-ended core funds and industrial and debt investments for the value-add fund. She also assisted the asset management team on the $2.0 billion office portfolio in the Tri-state region.

Cher holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
