Fasil Ayalew

Mr. Ayalew is a Finance Director based in Luxembourg, working on open-ended funds at Hines. He is responsible for the finance and accounting functions, currently providing support to Asian, European and US fund ranges. Mr. Ayalew started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago, auditing a variety of financial institutions which included hedge funds, banks, insurance companies, real estate funds and investment managers. Subsequently, he worked for Schroders and Fidelity. At Fidelity, Mr. Ayalew spent over a decade in several roles in their Luxembourg office. During this time, he managed a European tax team, lead a financial reporting team, was a senior manager of regulatory reporting, and worked as a senior finance manager in the European real estate business. He was a member of the Investment and Risk Committees of Fidelity’s flagship European real estate fund.

Mr. Ayalew is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from The Ohio State University, with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
