Hines Receives 12 Global PERE Awards Nominations

Hines is humbled to receive 12 nominations for the 2020 Global Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) Awards. The prestigious annual awards recognize investors, managers, advisors and individuals that have made a significant impact in the CRE industry over the past year. Decided purely by the industry, PERE awards remain the highest profile accolades for the world’s private real estate markets.

Hines completed seven office transactions stateside totaling roughly $3.8 billion, including the $492 million acquisition of a 49% share of One Madison Avenue alongside NPS; teamed up with Ivanhoé Cambridge for a 10-million-square-foot office portfolio asset management separate account; raised €4 billion for its one-off joint ventures and over €1.5 billion for its funds and separate accounts; and teamed up with Henderson Park to buy five hotels on the Greek island of Crete.

The firm closed on €3.2 billion of new residential deals, including its first residential investment in Amsterdam; formed €1.25 billion joint venture with QuadReal Property Group targeting build-to-rent properties, student accommodation and serviced apartments across Europe; and partnered with Henderson Park for a 400-home development in Athens.
