Retail Lineup to Feature International Luxury Fashion Brands Including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, David Yurman, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, BOSS, Longchamp, and Paul Stuart;

High-End Restaurants Include DBGB Kitchen and Bar, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Momofuku, and Mango Tree

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Hines and Qatari Diar, developers of CityCenterDC, are celebrating the group of stores and restaurants to join the exciting retail lineup at the 10-acre, landmark, mixed-use development located in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C.

Several retailers have already opened their doors, including fashion brands TUMI, Allen Edmonds, Longchamp, kate spade new york, BOSS, and Burberry. Additional brands such as Hermès and Louis Vuitton, as well as others including Dior, David Yurman, Salvatore Ferragamo, Loro Piana, CH Carolina Herrera, Zadig & Voltaire, Paul Stuart, Caudalie Boutique and Spa Room, and Arc'Teryx have executed leases at CityCenterDC and are slated to open in the near future.

Numerous high-end restaurants are also joining CityCenterDC: Daniel Boulud's DBGB Kitchen and Bar as well as Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House both opened in September, Mango Tree by Richard Sandoval is targeting a December opening, while David Chang's Momofuku and renowned Mediterranean restaurant Fig & Olive are slated to open in 2015. In addition, D.C. chef Amy Brandwein will open Centrolina, an Italian restaurant and market, Violeta Edleman and Robb Duncan will open local favorite Dolcezza gelato and coffee house, and pastry chef Meredith Tomason will open her first brick and mortar, RareSweets.

Hines and Qatari Diar expect to announce additional store and restaurant commitments in the coming months.

“We are proud to welcome each of these significant brands to the roster of retailers and restaurants at CityCenterDC,” said Howard Riker, managing director for Hines. “The stores within this world-class lifestyle destination will benefit from CityCenterDC’s built-in residential and office population, the millions of visitors to our nation’s capital, and the ever-strengthening local and regional populations. These recognized brands also address the need for additional shopping and dining options in the downtown D.C. market, and we are pleased to be able to fulfill this demand.”

Since CityCenterDC’s inception, it has been the District and development team’s objective to provide a critical mass of retail space at this central Downtown location that would provide an amenity to residents and daytime office workers and also appeal to regional and out-of-town visitors.

When all phases of the project are completed, the CityCenterDC retail component will include over 60 apparel stores, restaurants and cafes in approximately 300,000 square feet with extensive street frontage and dynamic storefronts.

Engaging public spaces will host seasonal programming and events that will complement this retail activity and other Downtown D.C. attractions.

CityCenterDC has already realized tremendous success, having leased 95 percent of its office space, sold more than 85 percent of its condominium residences and leased more than 80 percent of its apartments.
