(HOUSTON) – Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that it has been retained by Silverpeak Real Estate Partners and Cameron Management as property manager for 1001 McKinney, a 23-story building located on the corner of McKinney and Main in the heart of downtown Houston.
Hines Director of Property Management Rob Bridges said, “1001 McKinney has been a strong performer for decades and we are extremely pleased that Silverpeak Real Estate Partners and Cameron Management see the value in our comprehensive property management services. Many owners think we only manage our own buildings, but half of our global portfolio is managed for third parties.”
“Our property management team will be hyper focused on repositioning this asset and creating significant value for ownership,” added Hines Senior Managing Director Charles Elder.
The 375,440-square-foot office building has achieved Gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® for Existing Buildings (EB) Rating System and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly known as the City National Bank Building, the landmark Art Deco building was constructed in 1947 and was designed by Alfred C. Finn.
1001 McKinney is 79 percent leased to a prestigious tenant roster including:
Conley Rose, P.C.; Kelley, Kronenberg, Gilmartin, Fichtel, Wander, Bamdas, Eskalyo & Dunbrack, P.A.; McGlinchey Stafford PLLC; Shannon, Martin, Finkelstein & Alvarado, P.C.; and Thorpe Petroleum Corporation.
