In 2018, Hines along with a fund managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. (āOaktreeā), acquired Beckman Coulter, a five-building office and industrial campus totaling 576,234 square feet on 33.9 acres in Brea, CA. The campus was sold by Pembroke, and Beckman Coulter occupies 100 percent of the campus through 2027.
The property provides immediate access to the Orange (SR-57) Freeway, and is approximately 30 minutes from John Wayne Airport. Hines has assumed property management responsibilities on behalf of the joint venture.
