Since joining the firm, she has been promoted to Assistant Controller and oversees various investment structures in Germany, France, Spain and the U.K.

“Our team at Hines is responsible for a full range of accounting services, which requires a good knowledge of different GAAPs and tax rulings in different jurisdictions. This gives us a better understanding of how a business adapts, depending on the country in which it is operated,” Aiste observed.

When not working as an Assistant Controller at Hines Luxembourg, Aiste loves traveling to different countries and being close to nature. A true adventurer, she has explored many exotic places – from hiking through magnificent Landmannalaugar in Iceland to sleeping in the steamy jungles of Amazonia, Brazil, and from walking on fire to jumping into an icy lake.

Aiste is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Finance at the University of Leicester in the U.K. She is also attending the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants while learning a fourth language, which will serve her well in her future adventures.
