Hines entered Greater China in 1996 with the opening of its Beijing office. Hines Greater China then established its Shanghai office in 2005. In 2019, Hines opened its office in Hong Kong and another in Shenzhen the following year. To date, Hines Greater China has acquired, managed and developed more than 9.8 million square feet of office, retail, residential and logistics properties across Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Dongguan.
