Alex Ohrn

Alex is a Managing Director and leads Hines’ Austin office. He is responsible for capitalizing, executing, and managing development and acquisition projects in Austin and San Antonio.

Alex joined Hines in 2018 and has helped build a pipeline of over 1.6 million square feet of new office and multifamily projects. Notable projects include T3 Eastside, a 100,000 square foot mixed-use office project in East Austin, Hines’ first heavy timber project to feature multifamily units; Varenna Lakeside, a 336-unit multifamily project in Georgetown, Elina; a 349-unit multifamily project in SE Austin; and OneTerra, a 520,000 square foot office project in the Domain.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas.
