David is a Managing Director and is responsible for acquiring, developing, and financing Hines’ Chicago and U.S. Midwest projects. He has overseen the development of large-scale, mixed-use, and residential properties. Most recently, David has served as the Project Officer on Oak Brook Commons, a 16-acre, mixed-use master plan including a 250-unit multifamily tower, and on 333 North Water, a 333-unit multifamily tower in Milwaukee. David also led the acquisition of EMME, a 200-unit multifamily tower in Chicago’s West Loop submarket, on behalf of the Hines Global Income Trust.

David joined Hines in 2007. Additionally, David was the Project Officer for Lincoln Common, a 900,000-square-foot mixed-use development comprised of two 20-story luxury apartment buildings totaling 538 units, 100,000 square feet of street retail, 50,000 square feet of loft office, and 31 for-sale condo units. Notably, David managed the asset sale process for 1225 Old Town, a 16-story, 250-unit luxury apartment building in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood. This process resulted in a $158 million transaction, breaking the Chicago multifamily record for price per unit and per square foot.

David serves on the Board of Directors at PearlX, a proptech company focused on deploying solar panel and battery solutions on multifamily assets.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
