Sean Sacks

Sean is a Senior Managing Director responsible for new business generation and the successful oversight and execution of acquisition, development, and management activities within the Boston metropolitan area.

Sean joined Hines in 2014 and spent his first eight years overseeing the development and acquisition of more than 2,000 housing units in the Northeast including the award-winning Fuse Cambridge and Meriel Marina Bay. Prior to Hines, Sean was the Vice President of Development at New Boston Fund for nine years where he was active in multifamily rental and for-sale condominiums, and mixed-use projects.

Sean is a NAIOP Massachusetts chapter board member and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Vassar College and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development and a Master’s in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
