Marisa Michnick Joins Hines’ Leasing Team in Firm's Washington, D.C. Office

(WASHINGTON, D.C.)

– Hines, the international real estate firm, announced today that Marisa Michnick has joined the firm as a Leasing Representative in its Washington, D.C. office.

In that role, she will support Hines’ leasing and marketing activities throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region.

Michnick was formerly with RTKL, a global architecture, planning and design firm, for six years as a Business Development Associate in their Washington, D.C. office.

During her time there, she targeted local tenant representatives and end users, while working closely with the firm’s in-house marketing team.

Michnick is a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis, MO, where she received a BSBA in Marketing, and minored in Art History and Communications. She is currently on the board of DC Real Estate Group (DCREG) and the Washington Project for the Arts (WPA), and is active with the CoreNet Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

Hines has been active in the Washington, D.C. real estate market since the early 1980s.

Columbia Square designed by I.M. Pei and partners, Franklin Square designed by Philip Johnson, the Postal Square redevelopment designed by Shalom Baranes, 600 Thirteenth Street designed by Robert A. M. Stern, all in downtown Washington; and the development management of the Gannett/USA Today Headquarters designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox in Northern Virginia.

Major acquisitions with repositioning requirements include:

700 11th Street, One Franklin Square, 1900 K Street, 1200 Nineteenth Street and 2100 M Street.
